Whale ride
Book your next experience in Ilulissat at the bottom of Disko Bay, where you will be given every opportunity to watch whales swim around and find food out in the bay and even among the giant icebergs. Here we see humpback whales or fin whales on a daily basis.
We sail in a smaller fast open boat that carries a maximum of 6 passengers and we guarantee that everyone will have a personal experience.
It is important for WhaleTours to follow whale watching guidelines for an ethical and respectful experience with the whales. We are there on their premise, disrupting as little as possible.
On the Hvaltur we are given good opportunities to get close to the water and ice and we are flexible and can stop anywhere for good photo or film shoots.
Practical information
Remember that we sail around the water, where the temperature is often well below the temperature on land. Everyone gets suits on before departure but wear warm clothes and a hat and mittens are required.
