I was born and raised in Ilulissat, as a bilingual and speak Danish and Greenlandic fluently.

I also speak English, German and Italian.

Since childhood, I have sailed and fished in the majority of Disko Bay.

I have been doing business in the city for many years, and continue a family business founded in 1957. I am serviceminded and have great knowledge of Ilulissat and Greenland. I aim to give each guest a personal experience, which can be done as we sail in a smaller boat.

I marvel daily at the ever-changing nature with icebergs varying in thousands of sizes and shapes. The trips on the water provide for the majority of our guests what can be called a life experience. Particularly striking is the encounter with whales, which are often observed quite close up.

The sound when the whale breaks the surface and gives off a blow and then fills the lungs can be heard far away in the quiet surroundings, interrupted only by a little chuckle from the nearby icebergs.
